How to play Martha Solitaire
- The four Aces start the foundations; the remaining cards form twelve columns with alternating face-up and face-down cards.
- Build the foundations upwards by suit and build tableau columns downwards in alternating colours.
- Move individual cards or ordered runs. An empty column can receive a single card, but not an entire run.
- Turn over cards as they become exposed and move the whole deck to the foundations.
Tip from the table
Uncover face-down cards before extending an already open column.
